National Garden Gift Vouchers are operated by The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) which was established in 1899.

The vouchers are available to buy and spend at nearly 2000 HTA member centres across the UK; big and small, and can be redeemed against over 90,000 different gardening related products. 

A brief history of National Garden Gift Vouchers

1962 - the HTA introduce Gift Tokens; a gift for gardeners both new and old.  The aim is that they become available to be bought and spent nationwide for the convenience and enjoyment of UK gardeners' and in support of the Hoticultural Industry

1987 - Gift Tokens celebrate their 25th Anniversary

2000 - Gift Tokens become National Garden Gift Vouchers

2003 - the HTA begin to offer National Garden Gift Vouchers online at www.thevouchergarden.co.uk 

2004 - National Garden Gift Vouchers get a fresh new look with a new logo and voucher designs

2006 - the £25 voucher is introduced
